Sheep in the Lee of the Wall
Highlands, No. 32 · The Annual, Volume One, page 190
A handful of sheep press together in the lee of a drystone wall while rain slants across the hill behind them in fine grey lines. Their fleeces have gone yellow with wet, and one has turned to look at whatever is coming next. The wall was built for the field, but the sheep have their own use for it. From Highlands.
