Looking Out to the Street from the Shop Floor
Le Fleuriste, No. 31 · The Annual, Volume One, page 67
Buckets line both walls of the narrow shop, dahlias and hydrangea and gladioli banked up to the shelves, while green doors stand folded open onto a bright street. Sun comes straight through and pools on the tiles, leaving the flowers in the cool of the room. Mid-morning, the awning across the way still holding its color. From Le Fleuriste.
The Annual, Volume One, page 67.

From the collection
We have always loved flowers more than is strictly reasonable. A flower shop is a room built for exactly that, and the people who work there know it.
