A fat bumblebee caught mid-flight, gold and black banding, wings blurred with motion and grains of pollen across its back. A dark shadow pools beneath to hold it in the air. From The Potting Shed, a collection about what the garden gives back.

From the collection
Not the manicured garden on the magazine cover. The real one, with muddy boots by the door, a caterpillar on the basil, and a greenhouse that smells like warm earth.
