Pale green harvest nets are spread under two long rows of olive trees, lifted at the trunks so they fall in soft folds across the ground. The trunks are twisted and dark, the leaves silver-green with a few olives still on, and two small figures stand far down the row. Everything is ready, and now somebody has to shake the trees.
