A single-arch stone bridge crosses a burn running the color of strong tea over pebbles, the dark of the arch framing a second bend of water beyond. Rust bleeds down the masonry where iron in the stone has been weeping for a century, and ferns and moss have taken the banks on both sides. Built for carts, still holding.
