Four calla lilies open on white, each smooth funnel curling to a fine point at the tip with a yellow spadix standing upright inside, thick green stems crossing low in the frame. Grey shadow washes sit behind the blooms and the green runs pale where the stems fade out. The shape everyone reads as a flower is really a single furled leaf.
