The stone arches of Pont Neuf form perfect circles in the still water of the Seine, their amber street lamps doubled in the reflection below. A row of lit lamp posts lines the quay on the left, and Haussmann facades dissolve into blue-grey mist on the Right Bank beyond. The bridge and its reflection together create an almost symmetrical composition split along the waterline.
