A branch of a Mediterranean orange tree hangs heavy with ripe fruit, deep green leaves layered around the saturated coral and ochre oranges. Three fallen fruit rest in soft pigment pools at the base of the painting, the branch dissolving into honey and umber washes at the upper edge.
