Two rows of vines run toward each other down a wet dirt lane, their leaves going from green to blue-grey as the fog takes the middle distance. Puddles hold what little light the morning offers, and the far end of the row simply isn’t there. Somewhere past the white, the rest of the vineyard waits its turn.
